By showing deviations from the rules of building construction, single owners or owners of developer companies under construction are summoned to their office through Rajuk’s notice, and by assuring them to give clearance to the irregularity, bribery has become their daily routine.
It has been alleged that some officers do not even sign any valid file except illegal transactions of minimum 25/30 thousand rupees.
In the investigation, the name of Shegupta Sharmin, the authorized officer of Rajuk Zone-3/2, has come up in the implementation of a blueprint for making a syndicate with such dishonest officials.
