Because,the desire to get higher education abroad is eternal and more or less everyone has it. But due to the lack of linguistic knowledge and skills, it is not possible for many to fulfill that dream. And the famous Chinese language educational institution of the capital “Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute” is playing a pioneering role in fulfilling that dream.

A Recent visit to the Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute showed Chinese language classes in several classrooms equipped with modern technology and facilities. Among them is Jahura Mostafa Hira, a girl from Rangpur. She completed her high school in 2024 and wants to enter a university in China in 2025. She also said that She likes the Chinese culture and the ethics of the Chinese people. She wants to take admission in software engineering in China. Like Jahura, many others have entered the Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute with sky-high dreams.

Another student, Arju Akhter, completed her higher secondary in 2023. She is currently a student at Idai-Ilu. She said, “I wanted to study in a Chinese university. I came to know that Chinese universities are very famous and advanced. I really want to study computer science and engineering.

Also spoke with Yasmin Akhter Iti, a former student of Idai-Ilu. Iti, a girl from Khulna region, was once a student here, but now she teaches Chinese as a teacher in the same institution. Also working in a corporate garment buying house.

According to him, there is no precedent of anyone going hungry after learning Chinese. Here we who are Bengalis can work in a combination with the Chinese. It is a big challenge. Here I am the proof. My point is that we who are learning Chinese can express our feelings. I can contact them. At the same time the Chinese are also able to express their attitude. Because I know their language.

Where I am employed means that many job opportunities have been created in my sector. Many interpreters are being hired. I would like those who want to work in our garment sector to learn Chinese well.

Knowing the Chinese language has many advantages. As far as I know more than 1000 students who have learned Chinese from Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute are all doing well in their respective sectors. That’s why there will always be love for Idai-Ilu.

Md. Al-Alif, a tourist businessman of old Dhaka, spoke expressing his love for Idai-Ilu like Iti. He is the Managing Director of Alif Akhlaq Tours and Travels. After studying Chinese for two years from another institute, Lima Afroz studied Chinese again at Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute to improve her skills. He is now a teacher and admin officer here. Finally talked with the founding principal of Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute, Dr. Mohammad Sadi. He said, “I earned a doctorate degree in Chinese language from Southwest University of China and established the Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute after returning home.

In the beginning, the name of this institution was ‘Chinese Academy Bangladesh’. The beginning was the year 2016. Since then, today we have completed nine years. Every year we teach Chinese to about 1000 students. As such, we have taught Chinese language to nearly nine thousand students in these nine years.

A large number of them are working as interpreters in Bangladesh, some are doing business, doing jobs, and some have gone to study in China.

They have completed Honours, Masters, some have also obtained Ph.D. Some of them have returned to Bangladesh and are doing good jobs in Chinese companies. We have students in almost all sectors in Chinese established companies in Bangladesh.

Although there are many private and government institutions to teach Chinese in this country, most of them are amateur. Chinese language is taught there part-time. But we are the exception. We are a full time school.

Just like a normal school starts in the morning and ends in the afternoon or night so are we. We have classes every day. As a result, Bangladeshi became a student interpreter in just six months. That is why our teaching is fully professional. If anyone really wants to become an interpreter in a very short time, he must come to us. Because we are the only professional organization.

We got approval from Bangladesh Technical Education Board in 2023. We are now following Technical Education Board Syllabus as well as Chinese HSK Syllabus. We are playing a leading role in creating employment in the country, exporting labor force abroad and national development. Apart from national and international events and days, we also organize events like Chinese New Year, Autumn Festival, Spring Festival etc.

We regularly publish Chinese language learning books, dictionaries, prospectuses, calendars, etc. I have also won many awards as recognition”. When asked about future plans, he said, step by step promotion to honors and masters level and setting up branches of various universities in China. As well as establishing a Chinese language university in Bangladesh.

Traditional institution of Chinese language education “Idai-Ilu Chinese Institute” provides language training as well as support for studying and traveling in China, support for employment and employment in China-related institutions at home and abroad.
